2026 Summer Sand League Team Registration

The CCVC will no longer be utilizing the Nickel Plate Depot as a venue for this upcoming season. Unfortunately, we could not come to a resolution with the owners of the venue. We appreciate the years of ball and the partnership and hope that we can find ways to work together in the future.  

Our summer sand league will continue as planned utilizing the courts in Sherman, NY next to the Cooler Cafe and potentially at Capsized in Ripley, NY (pending completion of the courts). This decision will be made by May 22nd. The Nickel Plate Depot will be running its own league this year that is unaffiliated with the CCVC. 

We understand that some teams and players may be upset by this development. We will reach out to the captains via text and allow teams to withdraw their registration given the change in circumstance. Any funds paid for players withdrawing from the league will be refunded. Respectfully, we request that these decisions are made by the 22nd of May (once the decision for Capsized has been made) to allow for adequate scheduling preparations.

As a reminder, the CCVC is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) organization. All of the funds from our leagues and tournaments that do not directly benefit an individual or a charitable cause, go back into the club to fund operations that ultimately support our community. All board and committee members are strictly volunteer and do not receive any form of compensation.
